³³ When they arrived in Caesarea, they delivered the letter to the governor and handed over Paul to him.

³⁴ After reading the letter, the governor asked Paul what province he was from, and on learning that he was from Cilicia, ³⁵ he said, “I will hear your case as soon as your accusers arrive.” Then he ordered that he be held in custody in Herod’s praetorium.
